MERRY CHRISTMAS!

There are many questions I have about why I did this. The main reason was to wish everyone who reads our blog a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

This is our Christmas Present to all of you! This is all we could afford Click here to watch.

Two Date Nights

Last weekend my dad gave us his Jazz tickets and in return he got to stay home and watch Kyler for us (I'm sure my mom really did all the work). It was nice to get away from school and go have fun with my husband and it never hurts when the Jazz beat the Lakers.

The next night was are annual Christmas party with Blake's high school friends. Taking advantage of grandparents babysitting and because we don't get out much we stayed until 1am and had so much fun. You can see that I scored with my white elephant gift. Shower caps and a very sexy head shot of our friend Seth.

Kyler's 18 Month Check Up

Kyler had his 18 month Dr. visit on Friday and I have to say these were the worst shots yet. There was no distracting him with daddy or fun toys this time. So of course we decided to tack on more excitement and all get flu shots together. Kyler seemed fine the next morning but Blake and I are still whining about our arms being sore. He is now 23 lbs and 31 inches tall. I’m told that’s below the 20th percentile but he sure seems nice and chubby to me.
As you can see his mom’s curly hair is catching up with him too.

Kyler's First Snow

So of course Blake had to teach Kyler how to eat snow. I don't think he realized at the time that Kyler wouldn't understand the 'Don't eat yellow snow' rule.

The first post!

This will be a soft grand opening of the Blake and Monica blog. I know Monica has a lot of pictures she wants to put on here, but I had to post this because it just made me laugh. This is the influence toys have over Kyler. The monkey was provided by grandma, the entertainment was provided by Kyler.

This is what happens just a couple of seconds later....

Watching this was so much better than actually doing my homework. Of course after about ten minutes of Kyler doing this, and a whole lot of falling over, I had to stop him.
