Freezer Meals

One of my favorite things about where we live is how close I am to my sister, Laurie. Our kids get to play together, she helps take care of Zoey, we can pick up what the other one forgot at the grocery store, these kinds of little things are SO wonderful. She also helps inspire me with new recipe ideas. Last week we got together and made some freezer meals. It sounds lame but my favorite Christmas present last year was my new freezer. I love being able to cook huge amounts of chicken or hamburger and just freezing it for later. One less step to do for dinner time later when kids are running around and Blake and I are both tired from work!
That giant pot is full to the top with yummy pasta sauce!!

Salt Lake Bees

Early in the season and we've already been able to go to 2 Bees games. We invited Jason and Heather to join us when Blake got free suite tickets from work. The suite was perfect since it was a little cold outside so we could go inside to get warm.
We went again 2 weeks ago with my parents because we got more free tickets for being season ticket holders for the Jazz. Gotta love free date nights even if it's with the kids!

2 Months in Review

I admit I've been a slacker lately when it comes to blogging. So here is our highlight reel from March and April. Took Kyler bowling for my works St. Patrick's day party.
Blake and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. Dinner and the symphony without kids!

The 4th Annual Spring Training Trip
Each year it seems to grow and we get more people to come with us. This year it was our family, my sister and her family, and my parents.
The trips starts off with way too many hours in the rental van and Kyler glued to the portable DVD player.
Zoey seemed to enjoy herself! :)
Kyler and cousin Alex working on their pitching skills.
Blake seeing how fast he could run with the portable GPS unit. I think he got up to 17 mph but his legs were sore the next day.
Thanks to Blake we are a family full of Mariner's fans!!
Now for the many days of Easter and all the candy that came with it!!
Easter egg hunt number 1 with my family. Easter egg hunt number 2 with the neighborhood. By this time Kyler realized there was candy in the eggs and had to pick one up then stop and eat it before getting more.
Easter egg hunt number 3 at our friend Jason's house. Kyler found the candy bags for himself, me, and Blake. He knew the one for Kyler because it had a "K" on it.Kyler's Easter basket (more candy) and new toys.
Easter basket (yes even more candy) from the Grandparents
