The plan was to write everyday we were on vacation, little did I know the Red Roof Inn does not have free Internet. So here is a recap of day two of our spring break.
Our stay at the Four Seasons Motel was the best accommodations so far on the trip. It was like a huge room, and a great swimming hole.

Our room had a great view from the front door, Kanab is a very scenic place.

Kyler was really wanting to go watch Baseball, so we tried to hurry out of town.

On the way out of town Larry got pulled over. He tried to fight the ticket but didn't get very far. Serves all of us right for not going to church, the ticket happened right across the street form the local chapel.

We thought it was pretty funny to have a cop car with a dummy in it while the local sheriff goes to church.

One place we stopped to look around was a place called
Lee's Ferry. It was a very nice place to stop for lunch. I think I got some good shots of the area. This is the place were people start rafting down the Colorado River down through he Grand Canyon, I think that is our next family outing.

We stopped to have lunch and to let Kyler run around. He liked throwing rocks and running around in the dirt.

Kyler finally looked right at daddy just in time to throw a rock in my direction. I think he might have a shot at short-stop for the Mariners.

As we were driving we saw a place off the side of the road with some really cool rock formations. We hiked around a little and learned that some of these formations were living structures for some group of people way back when. I didn't really pay close attention, it just looked cool.

Kyler again liked running around and enjoyed the red sand all over his pants and shoes.

Kyler found a rock he could climb into and play peek-a-boo.

Monica and I hiked up a little ways to take a few pictures.

That was about all for day two.
