Playing with Cousins

We had my sisters kids over a few weekends ago and the boys looked so cute in their matching Batman Jammies that I had to share the photos. Check out those tough guys!!The both "think" they are actually playing Mario Kart. I'm sure Kyler will figure out this little trick before too much longer.

Day of Trains

Truthfully everyday is a "day of trains" at our house with the toys, movies, PJs, and even fruit snacks but for this outing we actually went looking for trains outside the house. Once again feeding the addiction of a 2 year old. Since Blake had President's Day off work we decided to take Kyler for a ride on Front Runner.
If you look closely you can see he is holding his train ticket in every photo. It's safe to say he was a little excited.
Our destination was the train museum in Ogden.

We got very lucky and Zoey slept from the time we got onto the train until we got home. So we could both focus our attention on Kyler and hopefully make it even more special for him.
Kyler got so used to us taking pictures that he started walking up to things, like this photo, and saying "mom, take Kyler picture with train".

Zoey is 4 months old

My sweet, chunky little girl is already 4 months old. She laughs and smiles all the time and tries SO hard to sit up. We have entered the stage where her toes and fingers are her new best friends. At her check up last week she was 13 lbs 5 oz and 23 1/2 inches long and we LOVE every last bit of her. The following are just some shots Blake took of Zoey dressed up after church.

Photos Just Cause

The family after our cousins baby blessing in January.
Our son's cheesy grin sitting down for dinner.
Breakfast time with my favorite little boy.
Special giggles and grins for grandpa.
Nothing is sweeter that a baby's smile.
Except when they are sleeping peacefully!

I just can't help taking pictures of Zoey every time we get her dressed up for church

Valentine's Day

I will start this post with showing off my HUGE surprise gift from Blake. He had been tucking away birthday money and work bonuses so he could buy these with cash and I would never know. He knows how much I LOVE sparkly stuff.
So for our Valentine's date I picked dinner at La Ferrovia with Blake's family. We had a great time visiting and didn't mind waiting for our food since they were busy.
My favorite part was when I looked over and Kyler was trying to cut his lemon wedge. I don't think he's ever held a knife before but he was doing a perfect job. Just reminds you as a parent that little eyes are always watching what you are doing!
Unfortunately as soon as the meal arrived baby freak out happened. Zoey wouldn't take a bottle so I went out to the car with her and she cried and screamed like I've never heard her before. So the night ended early for us since I couldn't go back into the restaurant and it was too cold to walk around outside and try to calm her down. Blake boxed up our food and we tried dinner again, just the two of us, after the kids went to sleep. She wouldn't smile but at least she wasn't screaming. :)
