Superbowl Party

Yes I know I'm a little behind cause the superbowl was a few weeks ago. We're not big football people but this year Blake had a greater interest in the game. The sales office he manges is in Pittsburgh, so how smoothly his next week went depended on the big game. Also we're up for any excuse to eat food and lounge around.

This shot is proof that Kyler did stop for a second and watch the game. With both grandparents and two cousins over it is a miracle. And there's the fact that he would always rather be playing trains.

With two grandmas around Zoey gets all kinds of attention.

Zoey's Blessing Dress Photo Shoot

Here are some photos taken the beginning of January when Zoey was 10 weeks old.
Kyler wasn't going to be in any photos so I didn't even do his hair as we were running out the door. He just happen to have on a white undershirt so we added him to the mix.

Finally a Night Out

Blake and I share Jazz season tickets with my family but since the season started right when Zoey was born Blake has been going with friends to the games. Well Friday was finally my turn. I was ready to leave the kids at home with the grandparents and go for a night out with my husband. We went to dinner before the game and actually had adult conversation. It wasn't as weird as it was with Kyler since I leave her everyday to go to work but the first date night is always a big step!

Grandpa introduced Kyler to cotton candy this week and needless to say he was a big fan.He still doesn't like to get his hands dirty though.
It's amazing how Zoey can stare and her mobile forever and not blink.

So we have reached that wonderful stage with smiles, cooing, and even a giggle now and then. This means I have been going crazy with the video camera because a photo can't really capture the moment as well (but I still try).

It's official!! The Sunday after Christmas we still had some family in town so Blake blessed our sweet little girl. After we had friends and family over for breakfast.

Christmas Morning 2008

So I am a little behind on the blogging but here are a few posts from our Christmas.
Kyler was definitely into the ripping off wrapping paper this year and wanted to help out everyone else.

Two Days of Christmas

We always split up Christmas one day with my family and the other day with Blake's so we don't feel like we're running around all day long. So far it has worked out well. As you will see from the photos we continue to support Kyler's train obsession.
