Translation... Mommy is having a baby!!! Yep you heard him correctly. Monica is now as pregnant as any one person could be. And Blake is not sure how to handle this yet. He has gone through a whole range of emotions! Monica has too, but lets talk about me first!

Nah, we are way excited and very happy about this. I have posted some pictures of the first ultrasound. It doesn't look like much, but we heard a heart beat and I am told we can see an arm, leg and a head. So the baby has that going for it which is nice.

The ultrasound shows baby "b" at 11 weeks. So we will find out some time in June what we are having. The baby should be here by early November. All there is to say now is, here we go again.... stay tuned...(Please Vote and let us know what you think, is it a boy or a girl? Look to the left for the poll.)

Spring is Here

The weather has been crazy the last week. Nice, warm outdoor picnic one day to snow the next. We have definitely taken advantage of the good days and played outside with Kyler. The poor kid is always stuck in our little house playing trains. Sunday afternoon we ate out on the deck and got out Kyler's outdoor toys he hasn't seen in months. He loved it and threw the biggest fit when it was time to go inside for bed.

Baby Animal Day

This was our fourth baby animal day. Sounds crazy since we've only had a child for two years I know. We've been able to make it look natural by always having my family come up with their children. Kyler wasn't sure about everything at first. There were a lot of people running around but once he found a horse all to himself he stood there and fed it FOREVER. He also loved anything bird related, chicks, chickens, roosters.

Blake has always been a fan of the turtles, frogs and baby pigs. Kyler wasn't about to touch the pig so we had his cousin Alex give us his best pig impression.

Weekend with Austin

Last weekend we had my nephew Austin come and stay with us. Blake loved it because he finally had someone willing to play Wii all night long. The only problem was Austin kept beating him. We had a lot of fun and look forward to doing it again soon!

Easter Celebration

Easter Morning. Kyler is looking good in his Easter Suit!

Easter hunt with all the cousins. I think Kyler really enjoyed Easter, he found that the plastic eggs have candy!! As soon as he found that out he was really into finding them. In this photo Kyler is sneaking out candy from his cousin's basket while they pose for the picture.

This is the only day Kyler will be able to down this much candy!

Kyler and I spent some quality time on the four-wheeler. We didn't know if he liked it but he seemed to humor us.
After he got off the four-wheeler, he tripped on the side walk. We didn't think he did much, but the next day he had a good scrape on his nose.

Anniversary Time

Blake and I spent a romantic evening at Macaroni Grill, celebrating our sixth anniversary. Kid free!! Good times. Blake not so romantic anymore, but the desert more than made up for it. :)

Spring Break - Day Six

We are outta Phoenix and headed to see friends and family in Las Vegas. Monica and I invited ourselves over to the Harris'. They were very kind to make us breakfast and hang out with us for a few hours. It is great to see where our friends we have met in Logan have ended up.

Thanks Aaron and Marlaina for having us over. And Aaron we need a rematch in Foosball! I'm a little bitter.

Kyler liked playing outside in a real backyard! He saw dad climbing a tree and he needed to climb too. So I sat him up on a limb, but it didn't take too long before he realized he didn't like being up that high.

Kyler preferred having noon tea with Demarie, instead of climbing the tree. Daddy was ok with this for now, only because Demarie does make a mean grass and rock drink.


And that pretty much wraps up our Spring Break. It was a fun week. It makes me realize how much I miss summer!

Spirng Break - Day Five

Well this was the day I was waiting for! We finally got to see the Mariners play the Brewers. This trip we only saw one Mariner game, because they were playing the whole week down in Tucson. The Mariners didn't play any of their star players, so I didn't even to get to see Ichiro, Hernandez, or Bedard. But it was a great game, they WON!!

I couldn't get Kyler to stay awake for the whole Mariners game, I thought the seventh and eight inning would wake him up, because the Mariners started to score a lot. But even the loud clapping couldn't wake him up.





After the game we left Phoenix for Las Vegas, it was a long 5 hour trip, but Kyler was great for the ride.

Spring Break - Day Four

Today we were lazy and took our time to get to the A's and Cubs game. I took Kyler outside the hotel to run around in the only grassy patch in all of Phoenix. Kyler and I both realized that this area was for dogs staying at the hotel. Kyler was disappointed that daddy was not letting him throw some of the larger rocks he was finding. I am just glad that he didn't step on the larger rocks.

Another great game, but to our disappointment the Cubs lost. It was a really good game otherwise. Kyler was so distraught over the whole cubs losing business that he exploded all over the place. As we walked out we had nothing to change him into, so he ran back to the car looking like some of the other cubs fans. I think it was a nice touch to let him keep his brown shoes on.

After the game we grabbed some take out and headed for the pool.

Kyler was impressing Grandma and Grandpa with his bubble blowing abilities.

Another great day and tomorrow we are going to see the almighty SEATTLE MARINERS!!! I am trying to teach Kyler to say Ichiro. He's getting closer, I think.

Spring Break - Day Three

Finally, the first day of actually seeing baseball! But to start the day off Kyler needed a swim.

The sun was not even on the pool yet, but it was warm. And as you can see Kyler likes running and jumping in the pool. You would think that he would freak out about the facing going under water, but he loves it! He did that on his own, he just leans forward.


Kyler really likes to go into the pool.


After the swim we finally got to go see two games.

We first saw the Royals kills the Giants.

To keep Kyler entertained, I taught him to hold his hands up like he was holding a bat, then when the pitcher would throw, we would both swing. It was pretty funny to watch him hold his hands up and swing.
That night we caught a night game. We watched the Padres and the Rangers play.
Kyler made it all the way to the seventh-inning strech before he had enough.
