Jaycee Carroll's Last Home Game

A rare occurrence happened last Monday night, and mom made it happen. Grandma was willing to come up to watch Kyler so Monica and I could attended the last home game of the Aggies with Jaycee Carroll.

It was an awsome game and Carroll scored 33 points in leading the Aggies to a 79-66 win over Fresno State. What an awesome kid to watch play! It was a great date night and Monica and both realized this will be our last time we will be in the Spectrum watching Aggie basketball as students. Thanks Mom for helping us out that night. All I had to take pictures with was my cell phone, The first pic of us before the game, the second pic is when Jaycee was walking off the floor. The Third pic I ran to the floor with my cell phone to get an up close pic of Jaycee waving to the crowd. Ok that's kind of not true.

Aquamarine for a lite snack

This is what happens when a tired mommy and a busy (doing homework) daddy turn our backs for a second. Kyler likes aquamarine crayons, but also likes forest green a great deal.

He had wax behind his top and bottom teeth as well as in his molars.

Swim Practice

We try to take Kyler to the pool at least once a month. He loves the water so much and it is one of the few outings we can do in the cold. It is an indoor therapy pool so nice and warm and only 4 ft deep (works good for short ones like myself). He gets braver every time. Today's accomplishments were he blew bubbles underwater, let us put him on his back to float, and jumped off the side into Blake's arms.

Movie Time with Dad

Just one of those sweet moments watching Kyler and Blake eat popcorn and watch Cars on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Comprehensive Exams are OVER!

Last Saturday we went out to dinner with Blake's parents to celebrate 1 a belated Valentines day and 2 that fact that Blake just finished his comprehensive exams for his masters. He spent everyday last week taking a different 2 hour test on everything he was supposed to have learned in school the past 2 years. He is relieved it is over and I am glad to get my dinning room table back. I can't even begin to explain the stacks of papers and notes that have taken over. I am so proud of him for all his hard work.

On a different note, we went to dinner at Le Nonne in Logan. Anyone that hasn't tried it YOU MUST. It is a wonderful Italian place that is all spices and olive oil. You'll probably spend about $15 a person and it is small so I would make a reservation. If anyone takes me up on this and tries it out let me know what you think.

18 Month Photos

So really they were taken at 20 months as a result of the black eye in December and various cuts, bruises, and even a rash after that. We finally decided they had to be taken before we cut his hair that was getting out of control. He was the happiest kid for the photo shoot but every time he smiled or laughed he took off running across the room. I have realized why you have so many pictures of your children from birth to about 9 months, THEY DON'T MOVE!

Snow Storms

Here is a photo of the snow outside Blake's parents the night we came back from Florida. I feel so bad we weren't around to help shovel. Hee Hee

Another storm came in just yesterday and Kyler and I went out to play. Luckily we got out there before the wind went crazy.

Orlando Florida

We spent a week in Orlando with its wonderful 80 degree weather while everyone in Utah was getting buried in snow. We had a great time with Blake's family trying to fit in as much fun as we possibly could. The only downside was Kyler got sick the day we arrived so that plus the crazy schedule we had him on made him pretty worn out. It took almost a week after we got home to get him feeling better. Blake alone took over 200 photos so here is just a small sample of what we did.

Kyler's First Hair Cut

Kyler locks were chopped, He did pretty good and was appeased by an otter pop! We knew it was time to cut it when we could put his hair in a ponytail.


Of course Kyler thought he looked good and was helping to style it.

Welcome Home Derek!

Derek, we are so glad you are back home. We are so proud of you and what you did in Georgia.

I hope Kyler follows your great example of what a missionary should be! He will need a lot of good examples to counter balance what his parents might do to him.

It was good to be back with the Crowell's again. We miss all of you and hope you all come back to Utah soon. Cody, Brooke and Ben were slackers and didn't show but I guess they are off the hook.
